    2. Chris Lincoln
    3. The Index for Book One: The Rice Family: 'Celebrating Our Diversity', is now online at <http://freepages.genealogy.rootsweb.com/~ricesinusa> For anyone who has any questions or comments please email <normagertz@aol.com> No requests for research, please. Rosemary Bachelor has been publishing material on various Rice families for over 35 years. She has if not the largest, one of the largest collections on these families. (Remember, not all descend from Edmund of Sudbury) Rosemary is now in seclusion finishing up book two. As each book is finished, should be at least eight, that index will be put online. Anyone who's Rice families had connections with New York, please feel free to send me your information at <nyrices@yahoo.com> I'll also be collecting information on PA, OH, and MI Rice's. 1. [NYHERKIM] Member passed away
    2. Claire Cranford
    3. Hello list, I need to thank the list members and listowner and ask for help. My mother, Claire Cranford amma@nc.rr.com has passed away. She died on April 28, 2002. She was researching JURY and related surnames. I will be taking over her research when I am able to come back to it, and will be joining the list as well but through my machine. Will the listowner please unsub my mother at the above address so as to keep me from doing it for her? I can't bring myself to do so. Again, thank you to all who were kind to her and helped her in the past. Many of you were a great source of pleasure to her and made her life brighter. She has all her genealogy questions answered now that she is with her family of the past in her afterlife, but I will pick up her torch here on Earth until I can be with my mom again. Sincerely, Cathy Cranford pastseeker@nc.rr.com
