The last I knew Surrogates Court in Herkimer charged way too much to do any research or make copies, some ridiculous amount like $75/hr. Herkimer has a brand new county office building and the courts are housed in the new building. The old court house is across the street from the County Clerks office, the new county office building is just around the corner.
