Joanne, your bits of Diefendorf help me just heaps trying to piece this family together. Could I make you happy by sending (USPS) the bits I have and ask you to see what seems to be correct and what cannot be? I really need help. I don't know why, but cooperation from this bunch is difficult to get. Will you please tell me where your interest fits in this line? It might help to know what I should look for. In 1997 I asked one of this family to help. Here it is, almost five years later, there are pieces, only. Your query helped me an awful lot.
