    3. The Herkimer County Historical Society has these books but you should also check out the Herkimer Library which is just down the street. They have a small genealogy room just behind the circulation desk loaded with good books. They own the church books you are looking for too, as well as a few more. The good part about them is that they are open after the HIstorical Society closes. The library system web site is www.midyork.org, from here you can check out the web catalog and search all books owned by all of the public libraries in Madison, Oneida and Herkimer Counties. By clicking on Member Libraries from the home page you can find Herkimer Library's web site that lists their hours. Ilion Library has a genealogy/history room that is open limited hours, you might want to call them to check when it is open and the Little Falls Library also has a small genealogy section.
