Judi: Sometime when you have an extra moment at the Herkimer Co. Historical Society Resource Center, could you check the book Marriage Records of Herkimer Reformed Church 1801 - 1899 for the marriage of Orrin Brown and Laura Cady in the early 1820s? They lived in Newport NY but maybe were married in the Herkimer church. I have not been able to find a record of this marriage. I was not aware of this book. Thanks so much. Nancy Sicotte
