Hi this is Ken THANKS for your e-mail and help - Yes you are so right about the Family History Center and yes we do have one here. The only drawback is not ordering the film that would be fine, but they tell me in order to copy the pages that I would need you need a copier and in order to get one they have to be open a certen amount of hours per week. And since they are open only 3 hours a week they are not able to get on and they will not allow you to take it out of their place. WOW -THAT HURTS.. ----- Original Message ----- From: <PNUTREG@cs.com> To: <NYHERKIM-L@rootsweb.com> Sent: Saturday, September 21, 2002 10:03 PM Subject: Re: [NYHERKIM] Re: REFORMED CHURCH > Hi Ken > > The Reformed church records go back to the 1700's. Hi Ken! You can request copies of pages from the microfilm through LDS after viewing the microfilm. I believe that like everything else it is quite reasonable in cost... in fact, I think it's the same cost as if the LDS center near you had the microfilm copier. Check with the volunteers next time you're there. I know this is the case, 'cause I used to volunteer in one locally that also didn't have a film copier machine. Hope this information helps, Lisa At 06:15 PM 9/24/02 -0400, you wrote: >Hi this is Ken >THANKS for your e-mail and help - Yes you are so right about the Family >History Center and yes we do have one here.
