I've added some comments below: >My other VanLoons are as follows: >Rebecca VANLOON married Henry VANDENBERGH. >Rebecca was the daughter of Albert VANLOON and Helena (Magdeleentje) >HALLENBECK. So far we agree, but as I show below we differ from here. >Albert was the son of Jan VANLOON and Janetje VANVALKENBURG. I have Albert as the son of Jan Albertse Van Loon and Rebecka Evertsen, born 21 May 1747, bp. 14 Jun 1747 at Athens Lutheran. >Jan was the son of Jan VANLOON Jr and Rebecca Janse HALLENBECK. Jan Albertse Van Loon was the son of Albert J. Van Loon and Maria Jacobe Hallenbeck, born 1 Jul 1712, bp. St. Paul's Lutheran, West Camp, Ulster Co. >Jan was the son of Jan VANLOON and Marritje (Maria) Albertse JANSEN. Albert J. Van Loon was the son of Jan Van Loon (the original settler) and Maria Albertse, bp. 31 Oct 1863, Albany DRC. Let me know what you think. You are probably right. I do question the year of bp of Albert J Van Loon, son of Jan Van Loon (the orginal settler) and Maria Albertse, bp 31 Oct 1863, Albany DRC. Maybe just a typo. I did find the birth record from Athens Lutheran church for Alber Van Loon, bp 14 Jun 1747, son of Jan Van Loon and Rebecca Van Loon. I do not have real verification for my info. I did find some info online that was transcribed from Beers History of Greene County but only has the older generations. So it did not really verify either way. It does have some of the same marriages I have but it did not show the children. So any clues to find verification is welcome.
