For info purposes, my GG uncles, William Vincent Carman was married to Amilia Tompkins who died in 1861 and is buried in the Rensslaerville Cemetery in Albany County, but is just across the county line from Greene County. William Vincent Carman died as a POW in the Andersonville Prison in Ga. in 1864. There are other Tompkins buried there also. Graves are very old so take something to clean the moss and dirt of markers. ----- Original Message ----- Good luck : Bob Carman From: mrs<mailto:flaming0dancer@yahoo.com> To: NYGREENE-L@rootsweb.com<mailto:NYGREENE-L@rootsweb.com> Sent: Monday, July 18, 2005 10:51 PM Subject: Staco Cemetery Can anyone tell me where Staco Cemetery is located. We are planning a trip up to NY in a few weeks and are going to try and visit, as much as we can, family places. I believe my GGgrandparents Henry P. (Harry) Tompkins and Abigail (Powell) Tompkins might be buried there.
