HERRICK Martin, shoemaker, 61/1 born in CT; Mary, wife 55/1 born CT; children William A., a clerk 15, Daniel W. age 13, Benjamin age 11, all born in Columbia Co. In 1850 James Herrick age 33, wagon maker with $225 worth of land, born NY; wife Phebe age 20 born NY, Adeline age 2 and George 3 months, both born in NY are residing in Greene Co. at Lexington, on August 14th, page 1. It appears they are living in a hotel. In 1860 this family is residing in Delaware Co. NY at Roxbury, page 305, July 7 James is age 43, Phebe age 32, Adaline 12, Thomas M. is 6 and George is 1, all born in NY $1800 worth of land and $200 of personal. In 1870 there is a James Herrick who is age 52, born in NY, living by himself has $600 worth of real estate, residing in Prattsville, Greene Co. 1880 Thomas M.
