    1. Maynard and Davis families of Windham bef.1850-1874
    2. Looking for more information on William and Eveline Davis family of Windham. Found their names in 1850 Windham census. They are possible 3rd great-grandparents through daughter Eliza (may also be known as Emma), born around 1836. In 1850, my great-great grandfather Francis "Frank" Maynard is living next door with the Jeremiah Story family. I'm focusing on learning more about Emma/Eliza. My great-great grandfather Francis "Frank" Maynard and family lived in Greene County from before 1850 to 1874. Born April 1, 1820 in New York. Left Greene Co. 1874 for South Dakota. His wife is known as Emma, but have also seen name as Eliza. By the 1860 Big Hollow, Greene Co.census, Frank is married and wife listed as Eliza E. And their first child Charles is listed, age 1. I searched the Greene Co. site and didn't find very much. Hoping someone will know more about this family. A marriage record from between 1852 and 1860 for Frank and Emma/Eliza would help. Probably married in Windham. Thank you! Allyson McKenna _atmack@aol.com_ (mailto:atmack@aol.com)
