    1. Re: [GREENE COUNTY] Coons bible
    2. Yes he was, Linda. The third Ephraim following two Nehemiah's, from old Robert himself. This third Ephraim is where the name became Rice and the chain broken, roots lost until just lately, for the last 40 or 50 years. He was married to Sarah Johnson, also from CT. and they left Greene Co. before 1820, when they were in Chenango town, (Binghamton today), Broome Co. through 1825, and in Farmington, PA. in 1830. Farmington no longer exists, then Addison, Steuben Co. NY. 1835 and Carrollton, Cattaraugus Co. NY. 1837 until 1865 or so. I just visited my seventh great grandfather, the first Nehemiah's house in Wallingford, CT. Got some "ghosts", "orbs" or whatever on pictures taken inside the house! Built in 1672! It was called the George Washington Elm Tree House for years, after he visited there, when it was about one hundred years old. I never believed in such stuff as shows up on these pictures, but I certainly can't explain it, either! The digital camera has never before, or since done anything like this!
