He died on 4 July 1839, in Catskill, Greene Co, NY and buried in the Earlton Cemetery, He married Hilliche Van Kleeck 21 October 1784, in Fishkill, Dutchess Co, NY She was born 21 June 1767, Dutchess Co, NY and died 17 September 1844, in Catskill, Greene Co, NY She was buried in the Palenville Cemetery. There children are: Jane Lane born 19 October 1788, in Fishkill, Dutchess Co, NY she married William Billingham. William Lane born 6 February 1792, Dutchess Co, NY, he married Dianna unknown. Gilbert Lane born 31 July 1797, in Greene Co, NY, he married Maria H. Lampman. Leanna Lane born 1 December 1799, in Greene Co, NY.
