    3. Tom - I see you are researching the Lord, O'Bryan/O'Brien families. These are the names I have been working on. Are they in your research as well? Thomas Obrien (Obryan) born ~ 1812, died 1880 Angeline Lord OBrien (Obryan), ? born 1841 This was Thomas's second wife and they had 5 children: Asa, Elbert (my great grandfather), Libbie, Clarence and William. They lived in East Jewett, Greene Co. I just started my research but I do have some information as I visited a cousin about 2 years ago who was able to help me a lot with the O'Brien side of the family as she is an O'Brien. Let me know if this is useful. Maureen in Raleigh, NC On Mon, 19 Sep 2005 15:57:50 EDT VTvending@aol.com writes: > Hi Sylvia: > I always enjoy seeing what's going on. 3. Hi Maureen, I just picked up the roll call and found some matches and some "close" matches in your message. I decend from Angeline Lord O'Brian's brother, Asa Lord. He was my gg grandfather. I have: Thomas O'Brian, Jr. b. 1811, d 1881 (close) Angeline Lord O'Brian, b. 9/7/1841, d. 1903 I did not know there was a first wife and have no information on her. Looking at the birth dates, I should have guessed. If you have information on her, I would be grateful to recieve it. I have the chlidren that I know of all listed under Angeline & Thomas as: Asa, b. 1867 Rufus Elbert, b. 1868 Is this your great grandfather? Elizabeth (Libby), b. 1880 Clarence, b. 1875 and William b. 1877 I also have a Martha J., b. 1871, d. 1875 Further, I have: Rufus Elbert m. Mary Madden Asa m. Mamie ? Clarence m. Mary Bridget Stanton William m. Margaret ? Elizabeth m. Slatter I have not been specifically researching the O'Brians, but have shared information with Tom and they are a connection to the Lords. When I lived in Jewett, I knew of them. I hope this helps. Mignon "Your vision will only come clear when you look into your heart. Who looks outside, dreams. Who looks inside, awakens.
