Do you know if your Robertson's had any branches in Yates Co. once Ontario Co. ? I have a Robert Robertson in Yates co. with either a son or brother whose name was George. He had children, not sure how many as I only have one name so far. He was in Penn Yan when my GGGGrandparents died in 1852 and 1867 respectively. Looking for more info on these family lines at all times. Zimmerman, please see my posting today about the booklet I have issued on the 6000 acre James Barker Patent at Cairo and Durham. One of the inheritors was a Benjamin Olmsted daughter by the name of Catherine. Catherine's husband is reported by the Court in 1821 as Henry Ossencup - The 1912 Olmsted family volume lists her husband as Gilbert. I have not located this family in 1820-1830 in the counties along the Susquehanna River in New York or Pennsylvania. What information do you have on Osincup, a spelling I have used in searching the 1820 and 1830 census?
