FOSTER, HUSTED/HUSTAD, LAWSON, NICKERSON, CARR/VAN DER CARR/KARR, SICKLES/SICKLES (Not researching COLVIN surname, but see the note below). Caleb Foster was born in Stonington, CT, served in the Rev. War, married in Dutchess Co., NY to Rachel Husted. His son Richard married Sarah/Sally Lawson. Richard and Sarah's son, John Foster married Elizabeth Sickles. John served in the Civil War. Their son, William, married Ada Nickerson and removed to Marshall and Peoria counties, Illinois. Charles Foster, son of John and Elizabeth married Elizabeth Colvin.
