I'm still working on the siblings and offspring of the Powell line: Thomas 1 > Thomas 2 > Moses 3 > James 4 > Moses 5 > Calvin 6 > Lewis 7 > Frank 8 > Alfred (Duke) 9 > Bobby 10. The first 3 generations were in Long Island, and then each generation moved further up the Hudson Valley until Moses 5 and Calvin 6 landed in Greene County. I visited the wonderful Vedder Library this summer and have loads of information I'm still working on entering on my computer. My next challenge on this line is to work on Calvin's wife Rachel Smith born abt 1811 and who lived in Greene County from the time she was born until she and Calvin moved on to Illinois in their middle years.
