    1. Re: [GREENE COUNTY] Tyler, Hotchkiss (Roll Call)
    2. Martha Hotchkiss
    3. Judy, George and Lydia were married at the Greenville Presbyterian Church 19 Oct 1790. Her name is listed at Tayler. I checked for Tayler/Taylor in Freehold and found nothing. A genealogist at the Hotchkiss Family Association believes that the name is Tyler. I need to contact her again for a source. The association is preparing a book on the descendants of John Hotchkiss and and this is George's line. I have been in contact with them this year. Lydia was born about 1774 and died before 1832. George was born in 1772 near Cheshire, CT and died in 1832. George and Lydia lived at Durham and are buried at Stonebridge Cemetery. I have a feeling that all these people came from Cheshire to Freehold after the Revolutionary War, and that they are very inter-related. Robert, son of George and Lydia married Loly Cook. Loly's mother was George Hotchkiss's sister. There must be many more just like this. You have been helpful. Please let me know what else I can send you?
