Hi Elaine, I think we've corresponded before. Just in case, I'm descended from the Palatine Groat/Gradt and Dederich families (with all the varied spellings). Of course there are innumerable connections with the Brandow, Decker, Collier, Vosburgh, etc. By-the-way, Walpurga is a given name, not a surname. She was the wife of Johannes Groat (Gradt), the original 1710 Palatine immigrant. Her last name is unknown. Where do you fit in and do you have any specific questions? Perhaps I can be of help.
