I am currently traveling so I don't have my records with me, but I am also researching HOTCHKISS & TYLER. I have previously made post concerning Augustus HOTCHKISS & Ann TYLER. While I haven't been able to find any proof, I have reason to believe that Augustus HOTCHKISS married Ann TYLER c1815. I am attempting to find proof of the marriage and that Ann is the daughter of Elisha TYLER; I have indicators that lead me to this conclusion. Augustus was in Waterville (Hobart), Delaware County in 1818 when there was the death of his child. I can find no trace of the lineage of Augustus HOTCHKISS. I have contacted the HOTCHKISS Family Association and the only record they have of him is that he married Ann TYLER; however, their records do not indicate the source of this information. Census records indicate that Augustus was born in Connecticut c1795 and Ann was born in Albany County, NY c1795. My travel plans get me back to our home in Houston, TX on Friday; that is of course if hurricane "Rita" doesn't interfer.
