Hi! My son visited Normandy a few years back when a student. He came away with the same sentiments as you did. He told us the people in Normandy were wonderful to them. The old saying, you can't judge a book by its cover, the same you can't judge a country by some of the people or their leaders. This week I think the French people have let their voice be heard by the EU vote. We also have to remember their were many French men and women who gave their lives for freedom in the underground.
