I am researching the lineage of Augustus HOTCHKISS (b. c1795 in Connecticut); he was in Delaware County in 1820 and died in Hamden, Delaware County c1865. In the 1810 census there are four HOTCHKISS's in Greene County: in Durham, George HOTCHKISS, Henry HOTCHKISS, and Lemuel HOTCHKISS; and in Windham, John HOTCHKISS. I would appreciate it if anyone has any information that any of these HOTCHKISS's might be related to Augustus. Dick Dodge Houston, TX
