Hi Sylvia, I've been searching for years for the records to the Lexington Old School Baptist Church. My 4th g-grandfather and grandmother were charter members. Right down to my g-grandfather they all attended and were married in that church. It was suggested that they had been sent to the Grand Gorge Old School Bapti st Chruch after the church in Lexington closed. I followed that lead and no luck. They haven't seen them. The folks at the Windham Journal referred me to the present minister of the Lexington Baptist Church, who I attempted to contact. I tried by phone while I was in Lexington; and again by mail after I returned home. I never received a response. Those records are a missing link for many of us whose ancestors attended.
