    3. After visiting with an old friend of Norwegian heritage, who has done extensive genealogical research on his family, I have been corrected. My earlier statement that only Danes end their surnames in 'sen' (for 'son of') while Norwegians and Swedes use an 'son' ending was incorrect. Norwegians also use an 'sen' suffix according to my source. It is only the Swedes who use 'son'. I regret any consternation or confusion that my statement caused and all those who previously objected are hereby issued one big 'I TOLD YOU SO!' (Actually, the crow is not too bad, it's the feathers that bother....:) Ron W. - In God We Trust -
