Birthdate: Apr. 26, 1804, Kortright, NY; 8th child of Phillip ( also written as Phillipse) and Lavinah ( Jones) Spencer Married: Mar. 25, 1827 - Eliza Hurd of Windham. She was the daughter of Garret and Lois (Morris) Hurd. By the time of the 1850 census in Windham, Eliza Spencer is listed as Head of Household, so Lewis must have died - or left before that.
