    3. Hi Shelly, The Lord homestead site and cemetery are in East Jewett, Greene County, NY. I can't recall the name or number of the road on which they are located; however, if you ask any local where the East Jewett fire house is, they can tell you. The homestead site is to the right of the firehouse when you are facing it and the cemetery is behind the house. The old home is long gone and a modern house sits on the location. The family who live in the house are very friendly and helpful and showed us back to the cemetery. They have volunteered to maintain it and gave me a map of the cemetery with a key when I left. The man's name is Gerry Loucks. Sylvia read the cemetery and can probably give you better directions. It is a good feeling to stand on the grounds of the property where your Lord ancestors lived and died. Best wishes for your visit. Mignon "Hide not your talents, they for use were made.
