Mignon, I will be heading up to the Albany State Library sometime inthe next month to do some research. I could check the vital records index to see if Selina is there. Possibly she was never recorded as the state started the mandatory recording in 1882 and the first 5-6 years are actually somewhat spotty. If she is there, however, it will show where she died. I have seen instances where the State has the record and the Town does not, and vice versa. It is worthwhile to check both. Y., June 20th, Salina Matthews, formerly of Ashland,) aged 79 years." Perhaps one of the children lived in Conesville; but, I never got to checking that out.
