Hi Annette, Don't believe Nathaniel was in our family line, but nothing is impossible in genealogy. Believe our Joshua Cross, who married Mary Knapp, was the youngest son of Joseph and Sarah Saunders Cross out of Westerly, RI. No proof of this, however. My Cross' were all over Greene County, my branch going to Knox Co., NE, and my grandfather, on to Montana. Carole Truesdale was one of the many Cross' in NY that are part of my family. Joshua and Mary had George, Joseph, Benjamin, John, Joshua, Stephen, Ruth (Nehemiah Foster) and Sarah who married Jacoby. A lot of George's family is still in and around Greene Co. Collateral families, Keator, Faulkner, Kinch, Peck, Knapp, Shaver, St.John, Pettit, Ferris, Finkle, Ingram/Ingraham, VanDorn, Richards just to name a few. Would be glad to share any info I have.
