Hi Joan, No connection to Eastman College--just trying to help out. No connection to a Boughton from Fla who married a Layman from Greene Co. There was a Matthew Boughton from CT who moved to Greene Co who was a cousin, I believe to my Francis Boughton (wife Esther Stowe)--who had a son (and others) named Clark who resided for awhile in Town of Durham, Greene Co. My Clark married Julia Hyde who had children who were baptized in a Greene County church--she later joined the church--see Sylvia's listings for Julia Boughton, wife of Clark and her children. Clark had a brother, Lewis who is mentioned also on the Greene Co site. His wife was Eleanor (Winne). Clark also had a sister, Mary Maria (Polly) Boughton (1792-1839) who married Joseph Whitman--they moved to Poughkeepsie (too early to go to Eastman College!). My father, also Fred W, passed away in Daytona Beach, Fl in 1978. The Clark/Julia Boughton family moved first to Herkimer, Co., NY then they all moved to Port Washington, WI in about 1846. Somehow, in 1972, I wound up in West Coxsackie, Greene Co, NY. Moved to Delmar, NY in 1975. The rest is history! Just love this web site and List Fred W Boughton (III) Las Vegas, NV ----- Original Message ----- From: "Joan Brower" <jmbb@webjogger.net> To: <NYGREENE-L@rootsweb.com> Sent: Thursday, September 29, 2005 4:10 PM Subject: Re: [GREENE COUNTY] Eastman College > Hi Fred--you got any connection to Eastman college??
