My great grandfather was: Charles Lewis b 1865(?) d 1899 m Anna Waters in 1891. His parents were: Jacob Lewis b1826(?) d 1910 m Annah Magee b 1830(?) d 1885 Other children of Jacob and Annah include: William b 1849 (?) d 1906 m Julia Barringer b 1845(?) d 1906 Carrie b 1873 (?) d 1922 m Jay Layman in 1900 J. Anna b 1868 (?) d 1927 Marietta b 1862 (?) d 1906 m Henry Chartres Richard b 1854(?) d 1928 m Jennie Noble James b 1850(?) died 1891 m Leah Hommel Sarah b 1857 (?) m ? Beare Eva b 1860 (?) died 1886 m David Van Orden There are many blank spaces and no family oral history as Charles died when my grandfather was 6 year old and my grandfather then went to live with his maternal grandparents, Mortimer and Abigail Jackson Waters in Schoharie County. Have also seen the name of Erastus Lewis but don't know what the connection is. Any and all information would be appreciated. This has been the elusive side of our family for many, many years.
