RIDER / RYDER the main surname I seek in Greene Co., some of them were the ones that owned a brickyard. (Anyone know of a picture of it?) They had ties to Albany Co and Green Co at the same time in the 1800s. Also, the southline of my 5th great grandfather's farm was the Albany/Greene Co borderline. WHITE, THORN, FINCH, PRESTON these surnames tie into RIDER and I know a bit about HAZZARD, NORTH, GILBERT, HAGAMAN, WAITE these surnames tie into RIDER and I know just names and a date or two Lisa
Lisa, I have done a fair amount of work on the Thorn line - who do you have? Sylvia, I have nothing on Rachel's parents, so I'd appreciate that info. I have Jacob Story's parents as Amos and Catharine (no maiden name) but haven't gotten beyond them. I'm descended from Rachel and Jacob's son Fletcher Story and his wife Elizabeth Chapman, then Fletcher's son Arthur LeRoy Story and Mae Gaylord (my grandparents.) Thanks for all you do! ----- Original Message ----- From: "Sylvia Hasenkopf" <esi@francomm.com> To: <NYGREENE-L@rootsweb.com> Sent: Tuesday, September 20, 2005 2:36 PM Subject: Re: [GREENE COUNTY] roll call - RIDER > Lisa, I have done a fair amount of work on the Thorn line - who do you have? > > Sylvia > ----- Original Message ----- > From: <LEschenb@aol.com> > To: <NYGREENE-L@rootsweb.com> > Sent: Tuesday, September 20, 2005 2:22 PM > Subject: [GREENE COUNTY] roll call - RIDER > > > > RIDER / RYDER > > the main surname I seek in Greene Co., some of them were the ones that > > owned > > a brickyard.
