Catherine ROUSE, born about 1825 in Tannersville, parents unknown, death unknown- may have been at the birth of Frances or soon after m. John ELLISTON about 1843. John was the son of George ELLISTON and Hephzibah FRANCES of Dutchess Co (Hephzy died in Windham 31 Oct 1889). John died 20 July 1895 in Cairo. 2. Children of John and Catherine ELLISTON: Mary, born about 1845 Jane, born about 1848, m. William H. SMITH, about 1868 in Greene Co., died bef 1900 Kate, born about 1850 Frances Catherine, born 9 June 1853 in Windham 3. Consider and Mary A. CHICHESTER (Consider was age 44 in 1860)- they adopted Frances Catherine ELLISTON before the 1855 census. In the 1855 census, Windham: Frances Eliston, age 1, female, adopted daughter nothing more is known about Consider and Mary. 4. Saumel Lester CAMPBELL, born about 1852 in Hunter, son of George and Ellen CAMPBELL, died 19 Apr 1887 in Hunter married Frances ELLISTON CHICHESTER about 1872 in Greene Co. children: Georgiana, Arthur, Ada, and Nelson Thanks!
