    3. Hi Vickie, At this point I haven't been able to identify either the parents or any possible siblings of George Robertson. My only clue is that he was born in Nova Scotia, and I have a few possibilities of Robertsons who emigrated Nova Scotia > New York. I haven't found any connection with the counties you mention (though that doesn't mean there wasn't one--I just haven't been able to find much on these folks in NY state). In looking at Civil War records for NY, I found about 22 George Robertsons--pretty common name! Thanks very much for writing, Barbara From: <V10852@aol.com> To: <NYGREENE-L@rootsweb.com> Sent: Wednesday, September 21, 2005 10:42 AM Subject: Re: [GREENE COUNTY] Re: Roll call -- ROBERTSON, Windham, ca. 1860 > Do you know if your Robertson's had any branches in Yates Co. once Ontario > Co. ? 3. Vickie, do you know whether George fought in the Civil War? And if he signed up in Grenen Co, if he did?
