Hi, I am researching the Groat line and would be interested in sharing information with you, but I have few proved facts to share at this point; although, I have some good leads. My gggrandmother was Lois A. Groat of Ashland. She is listed on census as daughter of John and Mercy Groat, but is too young to be their daughter. She was born in 1841 and died in 1861. She was the wife of Lauren A. Matthews. They also lived in Ashland. Do you see any connection? Mignon "Your vision will only come clear when you look into your heart. Who looks outside, dreams. Mignon: I go back to ANNA GROB abt 1665 in Holland and married to JACOB REUTTER. My information comes mostly from the internet, Family Searach and Ancestry. Sorry, no information on Lois A. Groat of Ashland. Ray Smith
