    3. Joan, interested in hearing more on the Boughton/Layman connection. Been working with Judy Morgan in building the Layman tree - is HUGE - but we don't have this connection.     3. Hi Sylvia--I corresponded with John Boughton from Plant City Florida in 1995; his wife was Jean Juanita Layman. . Gussie Haines, dau of Jeremiah Haines and Anna Brink, married Frederick F. Burton in 1875, their dau. Dorothy Burton, b.1902 marr. Arthur Layman, their dau was Jean Juanita Layman Boughton. They had very little info on her father, Arthur Earl Layman, other than he was from the Mt. top, divorced his first wife, Dorothy Burton, and married several times; I don't think they ever traced the Laymans--not much help I am afrain.
