Brown who lived in Freehold. His wife was Mary Mullen. They came from New York City and settled in Freehold around 1895 - buying land from the King family. We are are not sure what brought them to that area. They lived in Missouri for a time. Their daughter Maud Jean Brown married my great-grandfather Norman Milton Howard. Thomas and Mary are buried in the Freehold Cemetery.
