I’m am trying to find a source to confirm some recent information I came accross on a Polly/Mary (Van Hoesen) Clow. This information indicated she was baptized April 19, 1796 and died June 26, 1860 and was the daughter of Jacob G. Van Hoesen (born February 28, 1756 – died November 28, 1809) and Sarah Garner (born 1752 – died September 1842). This information also indicated she has at least two daughters, Nancy Adaline and Mabel. The information also indicated that her father, Jacob G., descends from JUERGEN VAN HOESEN, JAN JACOB VAN HOESEN, JACOB JANSE VAN HOESEN, JAN FRANSE VAN HOESEN (OR HUSSUM) There was another daughter, my ggggrandmother, Elizabeth who spelled her name Clough and married a Jeremiah Van Loan. I have sources for Polly's marriage to Henry E. Clow and that she is buried in Lexington. I am primarily interested in anything to confirm this information on Polly’s parents? But of course would appreciate any additonal information or sources on this family. Thank you, Joan Swaney

By my database the Jacob Jurge Van Hoesen, bp. (not born) 28 Feb 1756, married Geertruy Backus, 4 Feb 1778, at Athens Lutheran, and had five children baptized at Kinderhook Reformed. Possibly another Jacob Van Hoesen married Sarah Garner? Jim
