If Anna Planck daughter of Leandert Planck is the one who married Cornelius Schmerhorn - then I find that connection interesting as Jacob Schermerhorn eldest son of Johannes Schermerhon and Janette Van Hoesen - he married a Stroop and that Johannes would have been his father-in-law who was scalped. That would make Maria Planck a niece of Johannes Strorp thru his sister Maria Stroop. Jacob Schermerhorns father Johannes Schermerhorn who married Janettje Van Hosen - he was god father to Cornelius Schermerhorn and Anna Plancks son Johann b. 1777 at Athens. I am trying to connect this Johannes of Cornelius as the John who resided at Catskill and Athens from 1800 - 1820 - and husband to Hendrickse Van Hoesen. Jacob Schermerhorn of Johann Schmerhorn - three of his brothers and his fathers second marriage were to Van Hoesens.
