She was the youngest of the children of Mr. and Mrs. John Barkley and a sister of Benj. F. Barkley, former Assembylman and Sheriff of Greene Co. She leaves her husband and son, Juan C. Butts of NYC Catskill Examiner Sat 3 April 1886 At Palenville Mar 23, Rosina, widow of john Barkley. Didn't now if you had all this. Looked for obits on all the children - note tha Roxy and mary are int eh 1855 census, but are not mentioned in John's will of 1879. There is no cemetery listing for either girl, either. In the 1860 census John and Rosaline ar in household 814/912 with Benjamin28, Emily 23, Harriet 16, Eliza 13, Roxaline 11 and Mary A. 8. Horace and Margaret are next door with their family.By the 1870 census John and Rosaline are alone at home, although Benjamin lives next door with his family and Roamine Butts and family next door to him. There is a 1865 census but I would have to do more research at the County Offices in Catskill to see if they are in there. I am going there this week as I am looking up some deeds for someone. Thank you, some of it I knew some of it I didn't. I do think that Mary Barkley married John Carr (not Wm). I found her and John in the 1900 and 1910 census. After that I just don't see them again.
