I have Rev. Samuel E. Sargeant as entering the ministry in 1915, serving 40 years and died Jan 30, 1985. His memoir was published in the 1985 Journal of the New York Annual Conference. Audrey - Thanks for the info on Rev. Sargeant. Interesting though - my friend says he died May 1951 while attending a conference in Poughkeepsie. Anything you can find will be welcome by her.
