I think I know what Sue means. If you go to USGenweb.com, and work your way back through New York State and try to get to Greene County, you wind up at a site which is not the one that Sylvia administers. My backup route to Greene County is to take USGenweb to New York, then go to Delaware County Genweb, then go to the bottom of the research index page, and you will see a listing of web pages for counties abutting Delaware, and the Greene County site shown there is the one you want. (or Sylvia could put the url in her email now and then) Sam ----- Original Message ----- From: "Sue Maxwell" <[email protected]> To: <[email protected]> Sent: Tuesday, December 23, 2008 10:38 AM Subject: Re: [NYGREENE] What a great site > Where is the table of contents? I guess folks may be a bit confused about the Greene County website and USGENWEB. I am not, actually, affiliated with the USGENWEB project, which is why my site is not linked through them. Richard Frisbee, from the Hope Farm Press, holds that site. I am toatally independent, which allows me alot of freedom to do what I think is right on the website. I guess I always assumed that folks found the mailing list through the the website. I'll try to remember adding the email address to some of the postings to assist folks in finding it.
