    3. Sylvia, my list of "official" Reverends of Methodist Churches does not inclue Rev. Melvin H. Merchant. I've got Orville and Sheldon Merchant, but no Melvin. At least, today, he would not have to be ordained to bear the title "Rev." Not so sure about 1902.
