You should check with the New York Conference Archives at White Plains. It has been my experience that all Methodist ministers had a glowing biography/pbit written about them in the Annual Conference book of the year following his death. He should have also had a similar obit in the Methodist Newspaper. Hey guys, I am the New York Conference Archives at the moment and there is no biography for Rev. Mr. Hedstrom publiched in the journal the year after he ded., although that does not preclude other Methodist publications - Christian Advocate comes to mind.
