One summer, between semesters, I worked at the front gate ticket booth. What a fun job! I got to know Kathy while working there. Unfortunately, I came down with infectious mononucleosis toward the end of summer and just as they were getting ready to open the photo booth near the entrance, which was to be my new assignment. I moved to New Jersey, but we always made the trip home in the summer and there was a rare summer when we did not take the children to the Game Farm for a day. That was always a highlight of our visit. My sister and my nephew both worked there at different times, too. How sad that it is gone. I know I have some photos of the children feeding and interacting with the animals, which I will send to Sylvia later today.
