Would be nice to know which line John Schermerhorn came from who murdered a governess ca 1910 - died in Sing Sing. the very first to be electrocuted under the death penalty in NYS ( and it was made by Stickley no less !).     3. Was his name John? The news reports I found all had "Frank." None gave his age. Can't find him (with either name) on the 1910 census. He should be an inmate, as he confessed at the start of 1910 and the execution was in 1911.
