    3. My Schermerhorn genealogy says that Lucas D, son of Derrick L and Eva Van Valkenburgh, was born June 17, 1798 and died June 11, 1849, buried in Kinderhook. He married Louise Decker, December 3, 1826. She was born December 11, 1802 and died August 6, 1866; daughter of Cornelius Decker and Elizabeth Fowler. This is my direct line also. Seward R.
