Hi, I have an Avery connection in my Miller line --- the wife of Raymond B. Miller.( He was a nephew of Mary Eliza Miller of Saugerties, who married James Dolan of Hunter.) Raymond married & moved to Broome Co. (or vice versa <g>) after the 1910 census. 1920 census, Union, Broome, NY: Miller, Raymond B., Head, 33, M, NY, NY, NY, Machinist, shoe factory Jennis, Wife, 32, M, NY, NY, NY, Nurse Mavis, Dau, 2, S, NY, NY, NY Avery, Grant, Bro-in-law, 17, S, NY, NY, NY, Laborer, shoe factory Lucia M., Mother, 78, W, NY, NY, NY next household: Avery, John P., Head, 29, Lasts, Shoe Factory Raymond & Jannie (split the difference and her name was Jennie) were in Olive, Ulster Co. in 1930. I haven't figured out who Jennie & Grant were. There's a Grant the right age in the social security death index, with last residence Shokan, Ulster Co. And there seems to be a "Grant Avery Park" in Shokan. Love to know more! Peggy
