This website <http://awt.ancestry.com/cgi-bin/igm.cgi?op=GET&db=edeming& id=I11011> refers to the 1996 book "Southern Columbia County, New York Families," by Peter Silvernail, edited by Arthur C. M. Kelly of Kinship. The submitter says that Lyman's father, Adam Hoysradt "resided at one time on a farm near Gallatinville; removed 1871 with 2 of his children to Lawrence, KS; removed later to Carbondale, PA..." If you can track down an obituary or probate papers for Adam, possibly in PA, perhaps there will be a clue as to what became of Lyman.
Adam died in Kansas and Lyman was not out there with them. I have long ago checked with Kansas, however thank you for your kindness.
