    3. Folks, thanks so much for your insights! Nathan and Edward Clark were two I had thought of too, but I hadn't known about Edward's association with the Dakota - so cool! Perhpas you folks didn't know that Sterling Clark was a grandson, or possibly a great-grandson of Nathan Clark and he and his wife francine were great collectors of Art. The created the Clark Institute of Art in Mass. to house their collection.
