I've never been certain how to post to this list, via email? Or, the web? It never arrives with links back to web locations for NYGreene. (Any help would be appreciated and VERY sorry if this posts and not correctly!) Responding to the Revolutionary War soldiers: I have got one. Samuel Cochrane (Round Top Cemetery), originally a Greene Mountain Boy and from Woodbury CT, served under his cousin, Captain Robert Cochrane. Mary Milks, his widow. I've gathered more information but not as well as a dedicated genealogist...but I follow directions well... just boss me! Many thanks for this list... Victoria Cochran
Hi Victoria - replying to this email above works just fine. Thank you for the lead on Samuel Cochrane. He is new to my list! If he was a Greene Nountain Boy then he would have known Amos Finch from Sandy Plains, here in the Town of Cairo. He was also a Greene Mtn Boy.
