    3. Great backgrounder - thanks Carol. FYI folks - local historians are NOT tasked with doing your research, but should be able to point you in the right direction for your research. Also, this is amore honorific title. I know Town Historians who are paid as low as $50 a year for their services. Many local historians do the job because they are passionate about their local community, not for the pay! Sylvia

On another note I am Town Historian, Town Clerk, Registrat, RMO for the Town of Minisink in Orange County, NY.
